Ibou  was born and raised in Dakar. Since his youth, he is very passionate about playing Djembe. Furthermore, he can construct the instrument on his own.

You can either enjoy his teaching in individual lessons, or in smaller or bigger groups. No matter whether you are a nonprofessional or at higher stages with your Djembe or looking for a group for children: Ibou will guide you with a lot of empathy and patience from exactly the stage you are in. He will on top of that motivate his students, so that they most probably won't ever want to be without this traditional african music instrument anymore. 

Apart from Wolof and French, Ibou can also teach in English.

Ibou Sene est né et a grandi à Dakar. Depuis plus de 20 ans la maîtrise du Djembe est sa grande passion. De plus, il sait construire l'instrument.

Il est possible de profiter des 18 ans d'expérience d'enseignement d'Ibou en prenant des cours individuels ou de choisir de suivre des cours dans des petits ou grands groupes.  Indépendamment du niveau (débutant, amateur ou professionnel) ou du contexte (par example: groupe d'enfants), Ibou saura te guider avec beaucoup de patience et d'empathie. Il motivera et réveillera la passion de tout étudiant pour cet instrument traditionnel africain.  Ibou enseigne en wolof, français et anglais.

Ibou ist in Dakar geboren und aufgewachsen. Seit seiner Jugend ist das Djembe Spiel seine grosse Leidenschaft und er beherrscht auch die Herstellung des Instrumentes.

Von seiner langjährigen Unterrichtserfahrung kann man einzeln, in Klein- oder auch in Grossgruppen profitieren: Ob Amateure, Mittelklassetrommler, Profimusiker oder Kindergruppen; mit seiner Empathie und Geduld holt Ibou seine Schülerinnen und Schüler dort ab, wo sie stehen, motiviert sie und entfacht ihr Feuer für das traditionelle afrikanische Trommelinstrument. Neben Wolof und Französisch kann der Unterricht auch in Englisch durchgeführt werden.
